Short Description

This position is primarily responsible for extracting and processing transactional information from systems related to Evertec’s operations, identifying control points, designing required statistics, analyzing and interpreting data, and presenting insights through reports and dashboards.

 

The role also ensures that management remains informed about clients’ transactional behavior, market trends related to card usage, and shifts in transaction patterns. It involves developing daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards that enable quick and effective visualization of these changes to support managerial decisions related to business, risk, infrastructure, authorization levels, and more.

 

  • Develop dashboards reflecting transaction behavior related to electronic payment processing across cards and other channels.
  • Analyze data to understand overall customer behavior, including validation points, transaction timing, locations, and methods used by cardholders.
  • Generate insights from transaction analysis to help prevent fines or sanctions related to data integrity.
  • Ensure that Evertec’s authorization performance, both as BIN sponsor and processor, aligns with card brand mandates.
  • Support data analysis initiatives for the Corporate Compliance Office.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports providing visibility to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage transactional control processes, generating reports for compliance, fraud monitoring, chargebacks, commercial, business, audit, and management areas.
  • Detect potential suspicious transaction activity (e.g., money laundering risks or external attacks affecting the payment ecosystem) and proactively communicate findings internally and externally through statistical analysis of customer behavior.
  • Use transactional analysis to proactively improve authorization service levels and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Continuously identify improvement opportunities, contributing to the creation or update of procedures.
  • Document procedures performed and ensure their ongoing maintenance.

Physical Requirements

Education

Bachelor in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar positions.
