Responsabilidades Generales

Administers monitoring tools to ensure the best performance and availability of servers, network devices and applications. This includes installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and documentation. Participates in the release management process and ensure that the proper monitoring is implemented. Proactively implement new monitors that help to detect any degradation or interruption of the service. Monitors operating systems tool parameters in applications to determine adjustments to be made according to customer or organizational needs. Performs maintenance to the tools and make required upgrades when needed. Notify, document, and appropriately refer when a server or application is reporting an incident, making the changes necessary for optimal performance. Provides support according to operational needs, migrations, obsolescence, capacity management, critical incidents, and problem resolution. 

Educación y Experiencia Requerida

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields, from an accredited institution is desired. Around ten (10) years of experience working with Networking Infrastructure and/or Unix/Windows servers and IT systems infrastructure is required. 

Conocimiento y Destrezas Requeridas

Knowledge and Skills Required - Monitoring Tools, Knowledge of SNMP protocol, due is the most common way to communicate in the monitoring tools. - Skills in; WAN, Network Security, TCP IP, Wireless, Information Technology, LAN and Windows and Unix servers. - Participating in strategic and tactical planning activities with business units to understand their vision and roadmap requirements, providing Business Opportunity. - Scripting skills (for configuration and editing monitoring tools). - Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making are three crucial strengths that are required from a good business analyst. - Ensure efficiency of IT infrastructure. - Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude. - Excellent Teamwork and Customer service-oriented skills. - The stress level in a Business Systems Analyst job can vary, but it often involves moderate to high levels of stress due to tight deadlines, complex problem-solving, and the need for effective communication and collaboration. - Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and oral #LI-DNI
