General Responsibilities
The role of the Applications Analyst in the Applications Support Group is to administer applications (both internal and third-party), ensuring the best possible performance and availability, providing second level support. This support includes monitoring, Patch, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and documentation. Proactively monitors the application's health on a daily basis and analyzes performance indicators such as application's response time and programs being processed at once, to ensure that the application is operating efficiently. Changes application configuration parameters, property files and distribution at load balancer level so that the application performance will meet objectives. Validates and analyzes incidents to find patterns or trends.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineer from a four-year college or university and two (2) years of experience on application administration or development.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Computer Skills: Version Control Tools, Monitoring Tools (New Relic, Sitescope, CA Unicenter and others), Word-processing, Excel, and other related software. • Programming Language and Tools: Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications. • Basic knowledge of programming logic and codes (JAVA and .NET). • Knowledge of Windows and Unix processes and infrastructure. • Knowledge in MS- Azure and AWS Cloud technologies are preferred. • Ability to write technical instructions. • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications. • Knowledge of scripting languages. • Knowledge and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues due to firewall, load balancer, proxy, and others. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. • Excellent Customer service skills • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. • Good communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and oral.

12:00AM - 8:30AM WED to SUN
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
