General Responsibilities

- Responsible for the administration, support and implementation of payments business requirements in BASE24, B24eps payment processing system. Gather information about the performance of the application, functions and interactions of components involved in transaction processing. Prepare authorization scripts, provide troubleshooting assistance when application presents errors. Collaborate with senior developers and technical leads to understand requirements and contribute to the implementation of solutions. As an Applications Analyst, your responsibilities will be: - Administration of BASE24, B24eps payment processing applications. - Perform applications analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure correct functioning of the BASE24, B24eps applications. - Canalize the inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications. - Consult with users/clients to gather information about application needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements, and make recommendations. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, quality assurance, and other operational groups, to ensure integration and delivery of payment services solutions. - Follow established processes, standards, and best practices. - Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in BASE24, B24eps technology and payment processing - Monitors performance of applications after implementation. - Ensures execution of all key controls including but not limited to SOX controls for role as per assigned roles within established procedures and within approved delegation of authority and authorized limits. Responds to and reviews all escalations or deviations that may be brought to his or her attention. Reports any exceptions to established internal controls and documents any employe. 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

Education and Experience Required

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Computer Programming/Science from four-year college or university. - Minimum of two (3) years of experience related to applications management, monitoring its performance, analysis for troubleshooting the application and definition of processes for data workflows. - Experience with Base24-eps, including installation, configuration, customization, and end-to-end implementation. - Strong understanding of payment transactions (authorization, e-comm, pre-auth, etc.). - Familiarity with payment switch functionality and transaction flows. 

Knowledge and Skills Required

- Communicate effectively both oral and written in Spanish and English. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical teams and clients - Solid knowledge of ISO8583 message formats. - Knowledge in Shell scripting. - Knowledge in Agile methodologies and tools like Postman, Asset, Paragon or Card Networks Simulators. 

Additional Information

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PR) 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
