Are you ready to shine? 🌟 As a Billing Analyst, your responsibilities will include: • Processing quotations to create contracts or sales orders in SAP according to agreements and sale type, ensuring correct accounts and accounting determination. • Evaluating customer contracts to determine the proper revenue accounting treatment based on applicable guidelines and regulations (ASC 606), conducting accounting research, and providing recommendations to improve business contracts. Comply with SOX control structures. • Collaborating with Sales and Purchasing for proper management of the purchasing process and ensuring correct accounting for sales managed both within and outside the SAP SD Module. • Develop an understanding of services provided to accurately bill the services and to timely respond to questions regularly from clients and internal staff. Creating accurate invoices for clients according to agreements and company guidelines. • Providing interpretation of financial policies, government legislation, accounting theory, or customer financial regulations. • Gathering and analyzing financial information to determine present and future financial performance, ensuring revenue recognition effectiveness and compliance. • Documenting pertinent information as a tool for analyzing customer contracts. • Coordinating with all levels of management and organizational units to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, and government requirements. • Executing all key controls, including SOX controls, as per assigned roles within established procedures and authorized limits. Responding to and reviewing all escalations or deviations, reporting exceptions to internal controls, and documenting any violations through the required channels. • Performing other duties as assigned related to the position. • Work on special projects as assigned. 

 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

 

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting, Billing, Auditing, Finance, or related fields. • SAP knowledge preferred. 

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

Additional Information

Lunes a Viernes 8:00am a 5:00pm 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
