General Responsibilities

The Business Analyst (Applications) analyze business results and processes, operational workflows, and payment processing activities-such as card issuance, authorization, clearing, settlement, fraud monitoring, and claims management-to identify business needs, operational gaps, or improvement opportunities, and propose effective solutions. Identify and analyze possible customers or stakeholder's needs, alternatives to a variety of situations, and possible enhancements. Develop proposals for new services, contract renewals or new developments. Present business solutions and payment processing solutions to customers and serve as a liaison with the technical team to ensure the appropriate implementation of the identified solution. 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, or Information System from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in business analysis or project coordination. Ideal candidates will preferably have experience working with enterprise payment processing and financial transaction platform technologies, such as Vision Plus, Syscard, Paye, and Risk Center among others within the card payments ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The role is responsible for analyzing business and payment processing activities-including card issuance, authorization, clearing and settlement, and fraud monitoring-to identify issues and propose effective solutions. It serves as a liaison among stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements for process or application changes. The position evaluates and recommends business and payment processing solutions by considering efficiency, compliance, scalability, cost, and customer experience. It develops proposed business solutions that include effort, cost, timelines, and interdependencies across operational and technical areas. The role also prepares or reviews budgets, pricing, and financial requirements for proposals, products, and services. It presents business solutions and recommendations to stakeholders and functions as a key link between clients/stakeholders, business units, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful development and implementation of required solutions or products. Communication & Business Writing Communicates effectively in English and Spanish, adapting information and writing style to different audiences. Demonstrates active listening, clarity, and professionalism in both oral and written communication, producing well structured, concise, and high quality documents. Consulting & Solution Building Understands clients' needs and provides accurate recommendations, including those related to payment processing operations. Identifies improvement opportunities, influences others when necessary, and uses expertise to guide strategy, decisions, and change. Analyzes complex data and situations to identify root causes and develop innovative, timely business and payment solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Project Management Applies structured project management methods to plan, execute, control, and close projects effectively, ensuring objectives are met from initiation to completion. 

Additional Information

Monday to Friday 8:00am a 5:00pm 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
