General Responsibilities

Responsible for the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of the technological platforms that enable the organization's services. It encompasses the management of operating systems (Windows, Unix), middleware components, automation, monitoring tools, and technical applications, with the goal of ensuring their availability, performance, security, and stability. Responsibilities include configuration, administration, monitoring, applying updates, backups, incident resolution, and specialized support. Additionally, the role collaborates with development, security, and operations teams to implement improvements, enforce standards, and ensure service continuity. Also, ensure efficiency of IT infrastructure. Participate in strategic and tactical planning activities with business units to understand their vision and roadmap requirements, providing Business Opportunity. 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields. ITIL, Microsoft, VM Ware certifications are preferred. At least Two (2) years of related experience administratring servers (Windows, Unix), web applications, and communication systems. Previous experience in IT systems infrastructure is preferred. Knowledge of SNMP protocol, due is the most common way to communicate in the monitoring tools. - Skills in; WAN, Network Security, TCP IP, Wireless, Information Technology, LAN and Windows and Unix servers, is preferred. 

Knowledge and Skills Required

- Scripting skills (for configuration and editing monitoring tools), preferred. - Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making are three crucial strengths that are required from a good business analyst. - Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude. - Excellent Teamwork and Customer service-oriented skills. - Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and oral. 

Additional Information

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
