General Responsibilities
The IT Sr. Project Manager plans, direct, and coordinate activities of designated high complexity project or program to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction. Essentials responsabilities: • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. • Identify resources needed, assign staffing for each phase of project, and request for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. • Monitor and control project execution. • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. • Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly and or a monthly basis. Follow up with clients, when necessary. • Prepare project reports for management, client, or others. • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or related field • At least eight (8) years of experience with system development applications management and their coordination tasks. • Previous experience managing high budgets and long-term projects. • PMP Certification Preferred
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Ability to analyze complex problems. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. • Customer service skills an asset. • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and ability to prepare effective presentations. • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and oral. • Solid knowledge and experience following project management industry best practices for waterfall, agile and hybrid projects, as needed
Additional Information
8am a 5pm
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
