General Responsibilities

Responsible for the design, analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting for multiple voice infrastructures like AVAYA, Five9, Amazon Connect, Fortinet, among other products integrations on public and private sector including EVERTEC's own systems throughout PR and LATAM. Responsibilities include, managing of vulnerabilities and security of the telephony systems as per manufacturers best practices in conjunction Evertec' s patch and vulnerability management lifecycle. Continuous certification presentation as to maintain Evertec' s market standing. Continually document tasks and projects as per Voice Eng. standards. Maintain Voice Systems CMDB and Obsolescence databases, maintain voice farms. Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable. 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelors in Network Eng, Electronics Technology Eng., Computer Eng. Computer Technology, Equivalent or a combination of a Technical Electronics, Computer Sciences degree with up to 5 years' experience in voice systems, applications and other platforms. 

Knowledge and Skills Required

Knowledge in AVAYA systems, Communication Manager, AES, IPO multiple versions, Call Center Elite, WSFE, Call Center Flow, ACD Administration, Voice Eng. diagrams reading and creation, AVAYA SBCE, Media Servers, HP and Dell Servers, VMWare, AVAYA Systems Manager, Session Manager, One-x, SIP Trunks Security, H.323, CMS, Inter-product voice connectivity, VMWare and other hypervisors, Nimble Storage Management, Windows Server Multiple versions, Five9 call center, cloud computing, AWS Connect, Azure. Mid to heavy Linux knowledge, Vulnerability management, Certification on the Above AVAYA Products. Extreme Networking, HP, Fortinet and CISCO environments. Must be able to speak fluently, read and write in English and Spanish. Heavy troubleshooting and self taught skills. 

Additional Information

Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
