General Responsibilities
The Paralegal is primarily responsible for assisting the legal team with various tasks, including investigating facts, preparing legal documents, and conducting legal research. Assists in preparing routine legal documents and reports under attorney/advisor supervision, including responses to requests for production of documents and information by competent authorities. Assist with other administrative tasks of the Legal Department.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent professional title in the corresponding country as per area of specialty or a combination of Associate's Degree and Paralegal study course (Certificate) from an accredited institution in areas related to office systems, Justice Systems or related area.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Knows how to identify relevant resources, conduct research, observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all of them. Assesses information and possible results. Demonstrates attention to detail; applies general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense (deductive reasoning); synthesizes and combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events-inductive rationale). Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms in Spanish and English. Speaks correctly, fluently, and provides clear information to different audiences comprehensively and assertively, including but not limited to internal and external clients, team members, executives, and consultants, among others. Pays full attention and takes time to understand the points being made and demonstrates understanding. Asks questions appropriately and does not interrupt at inappropriate times. Writes data regarding: operational procedures, policies, investigations, business proposals, project plans, emails, ticket services, incidents, actions, and solutions implemented, among others. The written information is accurate, specific, and relevant, following guidelines and delivered on time.

Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
