General Responsibilities
The Product Manager Expert leads the development, launch, and strategic evolution of complex products with a focus on operational excellence and customer-centered innovation. This role requires a deep understanding of diverse markets, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to tailor solutions to users' specific needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and ensure outcomes align with business objectives. In this role, you will lead the evolution of assigned products within the dynamic payments industry, shaping solutions that empower merchants and financial institutions. You will have the autonomy to make strategic decisions, influence product architecture, and deliver innovations that enhance customer experience and drive profitability. This is an opportunity to work on cloud-based technologies and multi-channel payment platforms that are transforming the way businesses operate. Key Responsibilities • Design and lead comprehensive product strategies, defining and executing long-term roadmaps to ensure a differentiated and sustainable value proposition. • Define and execute product roadmaps, ensuring continuous improvement, profitability, and long-term sustainability. • Guide the architecture of complex solutions, collaborating with business, technology, and operations leaders to ensure scalability, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment. • Orchestrate end-to-end commercialization strategies, including pricing, channels, packaging, positioning, and strategic partnerships. • Collaborate with external clients (merchants) and business clients (banks and institutions) to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions. • Gather and analyze user feedback to enhance product functionality and customer experience. • Lead requirements gathering and convert business needs into functional specifications for development teams. • Oversee financial performance of the product portfolio, including P&L ownership, margins, budgets, ROI projections, and profitability analysis. • Monitor product budgets and ensure projects remain within scope and cost. • Identify and lead expansion initiatives, evaluating new business opportunities, enhancements to existing products, and entry into new markets or customer segments. • Drive market intelligence and competitive analysis, transforming data into actionable strategies to anticipate trends and strengthen product positioning. • Align and mobilize cross-functional teams across sales, analysts, development, operations, and executive leadership. • Represent the strategic voice of the customer, building relationships with key accounts, identifying emerging needs, and co-creating high-value solutions. • Respond to escalations and manage critical incidents effectively.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields such as Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, or Computer Science. • Minimum of five (5) years in Product Management or related areas (Business/Product Requirements, Product Analysis, Agile Methodology). • Experience in the fintech or payments industry preferred (card-present environments, digital payments, merchant solutions). • Strong background in project management, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Financial acumen for budgeting and profitability analysis. • Proficiency with product and project management tools. • Ability to translate client needs into functional requirements. • Organizational skills, self-starter mindset, and structured approach. • Technical know-how to collaborate effectively with development teams. • Bilingual (English and Spanish) for communication across diverse teams and markets.
Additional Information
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
