General Responsibilities
The Product Manager II will focus on analyzing the market at both the Puerto Rico and USA levels, comparing services offered by other institutions in the industry, and leading a team of Product Managers I. This includes: • Develop supporting documentation, including guidelines, training materials, usage instructions, and business cases. • Supervise project timelines to ensure timely delivery of all deliverables. • Maintain communication with the project team, providing guidance and direction while monitoring progress to meet established milestones and goals. • Coordinate with EVERTEC's internal units to align the sales force, product managers, business analysts, and operational support for product development initiatives. • Participate in various aspects of product development, including market and competitor analysis, and monitor product performance. • Provide orientation and support to sales teams, distribution channels, and partners. • Develop and execute the product roadmap, driving value propositions and ensuring product relevance to clients and the marketplace. • Regularly meet with clients to support sales and gather market intelligence on evolving needs, designing customized solutions as needed. • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to compile market intelligence and analyze trends. • Assist in designing product solutions and architecture, working with business owners, IT, Operations, and other areas, while recommending alternatives based on business needs and technical requirements. • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, including budgets, expenditures, R&D appropriations, ROI, and profit-loss projections. • Lead all aspects of commercialization and go-to-market strategy, encompassing pricing, distribution and channel management, packaging, marketing, positioning, and partner selection and management. • Oversee the P&L of the product and service line, understanding revenue drivers, expenses, profitability, budgets, margins, and ROI. • Drive business growth and profitability by exploring product expansions, new services, and modifications to existing products in new markets and geographies. Make informed recommendations for investments, growth, expansion, and divestment based on analysis. • Willingness to travel 10% of the time to assist at client facilities and attend industry-related events.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. • At least five (5) years of experience as a project manager, with demonstrated success in leading large, complex projects or utilizing Agile Methodology. • Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools and software. • Experience in project management, including resource allocation, planning, scheduling, and risk management. • Familiarity with project management programs and processes. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Experience in Core Banking channels with strong business and financial acumen. • Strategic planning and critical thinking skills. • Consulting, communication, and negotiation abilities. • Proficient in time management and project management. • Strong decision-making and solution-building skills. • Foster intelligent dialogues with clients regarding competitive offerings while maintaining effective conversations with experts in product technology and banking. • Strong research skills to identify product enhancement opportunities and optimize services. • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish. • Knowledge of data analysis and proficiency in Excel. • Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint to create presentations for clients. • Willingness to travel to summits and conventions and visit clients as needed. • Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop talent.

Regular Hours
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
